China Huaneng Puyang 500 MW Onshore Wind Farm

As a benchmark plain wind power project in Henan, Huaneng Puyang 500MW Wind Farm is equipped with 200 wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 500MW and an annual power generation of 1.17 billion kWh, boosting regional clean energy and low-carbon development. Adapting to soft soil foundation and alternating strong wind loads, the project applies 42CrMoA alloy round steel (Φ35–Φ75mm) to manufacture high-strength anchor bolts for wind turbine foundations to stabilize tower bases with high strength and fatigue resistance, while Q235B galvanized round steel is used for full-site lightning protection, substation grounding and auxiliary steel structures to ensure long-term safe operation of wind turbines.
