Introduction

The company plans to build a domestically leading production base for high-alloy seamless steel pipes with a designed annual capacity of 500,000 tons. The first-phase project intends to construct an internationally advanced medium Φ127 Assel three-roll retained mandrel pipe mill with double mandrels, filling the gap in the production of high-end seamless steel pipes in central and western China.

Technical & Equipment Advantages

Adopting domestically advanced design of walking beam heating furnace equipped with blast furnace gas double regenerative burners. The furnace realizes multi-stage heating with uniform temperature control. Dry desulfurization is applied to flue gas to meet national environmental emission standards.

Based on the conventional Assel mill production line, a hollow reducing mill is newly installed before the sizing/reducing mill for pre-forming, which raises the deformation capacity by 20% compared with similar units. It enables a wide product range: outer diameter 48–159 mm, wall thickness 6–50 mm.

3.High production efficiency: The intelligent control system optimizes rolling rhythm. Double-length rolling is realized, breaking the tradition of single-length rolling for this type of mill. It improves productivity, cuts production costs and strengthens market competitiveness.
