Introduction:

Bearing steel bright bar is an ultra-high-purity high-carbon chromium precision finished steel bar. It is produced via the full-process manufacturing route of EAF smelting, LF refining, VD vacuum degassing, continuous casting and precise controlled rolling.With strict control of oxygen content, non-metallic inclusions and carbide uniformity, the material delivers ultra-stable hardness, superior wear resistance, excellent contact fatigue strength and reliable dimensional stability after heat treatment. 

Product Overview

Bearing steel bright bar is an ultra-high-purity high-carbon chromium precision finished steel bar. It is produced via the full-process manufacturing route of EAF smelting, LF refining, VD vacuum degassing, continuous casting and precise controlled rolling. With strict control of oxygen content, non-metallic inclusions and carbide uniformity, the material delivers ultra-stable hardness, superior wear resistance, excellent contact fatigue strength and reliable dimensional stability after heat treatment. According to customer precision and surface requirements, finished products can be selectively processed by cold drawing, centerless turning (peeling) and centerless grinding. The product covers a diameter range of ø12–120 mm, including domestic high-end bearing grades and international equivalent standards of Europe, Japan and the United States: GCr15, GCr15-2, GCr15-3, GCr15SiMn, SAE52100, SUJ2, 100Cr6, GCr15-K2, LYHB55, S53C, S55C, SAE1055, G65Mn. Available in spheroidized annealed precision bright finished state, it features mirror smooth surface, no oxide scale, no scratches and precise dimensional tolerance. Widely applied in high-precision bearing rings, steel balls, rollers, precision wear-resistant shafts, cold heading fasteners and high-strength elastic components.

Grade Description

  • 01

    GCr15 series: G = Bearing steel mark, Cr = Chromium alloy element, 15 = average chromium content about 1.5%; suffix 2/3/K2 represent upgraded high-purity grades with stricter oxygen and inclusion limits.

    GCr15SiMn: On the basis of GCr15 adding Si, Mn elements, improve hardenability, suitable for large cross-section bearing parts.

    100Cr6 / SAE52100 / SUJ2: International universal bearing steel grades, consistent chemical composition and mechanical properties with domestic GCr15, for overseas export orders.

    LYHB55: Custom-made high-end, high-purity bearing steel with fine and uniform carbides and extremely low oxygen content, specially supplied for high-speed precision bearings.
