Introduction:
30CrMnTi gear steel bright bar is a high-precision carburizing alloy gear steel manufactured in accordance with GB/T 3077-2015 standard, specially used for heavy-duty and high-stability transmission components. Adopting optimized Cr-Mn-Ti alloy proportion design with strictly controlled chemical composition and ultra-low harmful impurities, the steel features fine grain, stable metallographic structure and excellent comprehensive mechanical properties.

30CrMnTi gear steel bright bar is a high-precision carburizing alloy gear steel manufactured in accordance with GB/T 3077-2015 standard, specially used for heavy-duty and high-stability transmission components. Adopting optimized Cr-Mn-Ti alloy proportion design with strictly controlled chemical composition and ultra-low harmful impurities, the steel features fine grain, stable metallographic structure and excellent comprehensive mechanical properties. According to customer precision and surface requirements, the product can be selectively finished by cold drawing, centerless turning (peeling) and centerless grinding. It possesses superior hardenability, outstanding wear resistance, fatigue resistance and impact toughness, and avoids grain coarsening under high-temperature carburizing. With low heat treatment deformation and high dimensional stability, the finished bright bar presents mirror smooth surface, no oxide scale and ultra-precise tolerance. After carburizing and quenching, the workpiece features high surface hardness and tough core, perfectly adapting to long-term alternating load, heavy impact and friction working conditions. It is the preferred high-quality material for manufacturing high-precision heavy-duty gears, gear shafts and transmission parts.

Core Characteristics & Application: 30CrMnTi is a medium-carbon low-alloy carburizing structural steel. It combines high surface wear resistance and core impact toughness, with stable thermal processing performance and low quenching deformation. The trace titanium element refines grains and eliminates high-temperature grain growth defects. It is mainly used for heavy-load gears, gear shafts, transmission shafts and reduction gear components of automobiles, engineering machinery and agricultural machinery, suitable for harsh working conditions of frequent impact and alternating fatigue load.
Grade Description
The grade 30CrMnTi is named according to Chinese alloy steel naming rules. The number "30" indicates the average carbon content of 0.30%, which provides sufficient surface hardness after carburizing treatment. Cr (Chromium) and Mn (Manganese) elements greatly improve the hardenability, strength and toughness of the steel, ensuring excellent comprehensive mechanical properties of thick-specification parts. Ti (Titanium) is the core characteristic element, which can refine grains, inhibit high-temperature grain coarsening, reduce quenching cracks and improve fatigue resistance. Standard chemical composition: C: 0.24–0.32%, Si: 0.17–0.37%, Mn: 0.80–1.10%, Cr: 1.00–1.30%, Ti: 0.04–0.10%, S≤0.035%, P≤0.035%. Standard mechanical properties: Tensile Strength ≥1470MPa, Elongation ≥9%, Section Shrinkage ≥40%, Impact Energy ≥47J, Delivery Hardness ≤229HB.
