Introduction:

Alloy structural steel round bar forgings are produced by forging alloy steel billets. Alloying elements including Cr, Mn, Mo, Ni, V and Si are added to optimize hardenability, tensile strength, toughness and fatigue resistance. The forging process eliminates casting porosity and shrinkage cavities to achieve dense and uniform internal microstructure. Chemical composition and mechanical properties can be customized upon requests. After heat treatment such as quenching & tempering, normalized or annealing, these forgings can withstand heavy loads, impact and alternating stress for high-end heavy-duty mechanical components.

Representative Grades

We supply a full portfolio of alloy structural steel grades. These grades are formulated with different alloy combinations to achieve diverse mechanical performance, ranging from medium strength to ultra-high strength, good hardenability, high temperature resistance and fatigue resistance. Suitable for manufacturing large shafts, gears, hydraulic parts and core load-bearing components working under severe service conditions.

    27SiMn: High strength and good wear resistance, widely used for hydraulic props and heavy load-bearing components.

    40Cr,41Cr4,5140,SCr440: Chromium alloy steel with reliable hardenability, balanced comprehensive properties, for gears, shafts and connecting rods.

    30CrMo,4130,SCM430,35CrMo,34CrMo4,4135,SCM435,42CrMo,42CrMo4,SCM440,4145H,4140: Cr-Mo steel series, excellent high-temperature creep resistance, used for oil drilling equipment and high-pressure vessel parts.

    20CrMnMo,40CrMnMo: Cr-Mn-Mo steel with deep hardening capacity, for large cross-section heavy-duty gears and transmission parts.

    48CrMoA,50CrMoV,50CrV,51CrV4: Cr-V steel, outstanding elastic limit and fatigue resistance, ideal for spring parts and impact-load components.

    18CrNiMo7-6,17CrNiMo6,30Cr2Ni2Mo,34CrNiMo6,39CrNi3Mo,40CrNiMo,40CrNi2Mo,1.2714: Cr-Ni-Mo steel series, ultra-high hardenability and premium strength-toughness, applied for wind power main shafts and large heavy-duty gears.

Packaging & Services

  • 1. Packaging: Anti-rust oil coated on forging surface, wrapped with waterproof plastic film. Large forgings are fixed by steel supports to avoid collision and rust during transit.
  • 2. Services: UT, MT, PT non-destructive testing, heat treatment and machining available. Custom forgings per customer drawings. Factory witness inspection is acceptable. Full set of export documents can be provided.
  • 3. Quality: MTC provided for each batch, third-party inspection supported. Products failing NDT can be replaced subject to contract terms.
